About Us
Crow Wing County Master Gardeners are University of Minnesota-trained volunteers whose job is to educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects using readily-available, up-to-date research-based information. This educational effort is designed to enhance the public’s quality of life and to promote good stewardship of the environment.
Priorities that inform our work: Horticulture Skills, Pollinator Health, Plant Biodiversity, Nearby Nature, Clean Water, Climate Responsiveness, Local Food

In 2024, Crow Wing County Master Gardener Volunteers dedicated 4,907 volunteer hours to programs that make an impact in our community. With 72 active members, volunteers spent time educating, beautifying, and contributing to Crow Wing County. 4,907 hours, at $36.31 a volunteer hour, contributed a value of $178,197.14 to the County.
